Hi hi y'all! Sorry today's post is coming out so late- I was battling a stomach bug late last week and I've had one of my best friends from school in town this week so the blog has taken a back burner spot in my life. I've gotten a ton of these questions before and I wanted to sit down and churn out a little Q and A post for y'all! Hope you enjoy, my lovelies!
What’s an outfit you could wear every day for the rest of your life?
Weather permitting, if I could wear a romper or jumpsuit every day for the rest of my life, I don't think I'd get too sick of it. I've really gotten into both of these styles recently as they're easy to throw on for the summer and so, so, so ridiculously easy to style. As I type, I'm wearing this romper, which is ridiculously comfortable and so easy to bop around town in.
Here are some of my favorite picks for rompers and jumpsuits.
What’s your fave bag for travel?
I currently use a Herschel backpack and a Ralph Lauren Newbury Modern Pocket Tote (I have it in Pacific Blue, but I'm also linking pink, tan/black, and white). I rotate between the two of these, but both fit a ton for carrying onto a plane or using in a car. In terms of suitcases, I really have no idea what I use. I'm currently eyeing the Barrington Gifts St. Anne's tote and Belmont Cabin bag for my upcoming birthday!
What’s your fave planner?
All time favorite planner without a doubt is the Lilly Pulitzer planner. I use her jumbo size one (this is the one I ordered for the upcoming year), because I love having extra space to write without cramming. I've tried Kate Spade as well, but I just keep going back to Lilly.
What’s your dream vacation?
My dream vacation would probably be Greece or Italy. I've been to Italy before with family and I absolutely fell in love with the Amalfi Coast when I went. We visited Positano, Capri and Sorrento and I feel like I could probably stay for close to a month there without complaining.
What's your fave movie?
This is a little quirky, but I'm really into psycho thrillers and dated 80's/90's movies. I would say that the two movies that are vying for first place in terms of my favorites would be Cruel Intentions or American Psycho.
What are your dorm room must haves?
I've attached a little slideshow below of things that seriously helped me survive my first two years in dorm rooms, but I would say that my favorites have been: storage ottoman, a unique lamp (I have a himalayan salt lamp), side table, string lights, something that reminds me of home, an LED mirror, cosmetic storage, mason jars for cute storage, a travel mug, a laptop sleeve, portable charger, wallet phone case, rechargeable phone case, and noise canceling headphones. These are the things I used the most throughout the year and things I keep going back to.
Favorite place to travel?
It doesn't really matter where it is, but if there's an ocean, I'm happy. I love Florida's beaches over all other U.S. beaches I've visited, but I'm not gonna complain if there's a swimmable ocean and sunny skies and a beach to play on.
One book to recommend?
My favorite book that I've read so far is A First Rate Madness by Nassir Ghaemi. It's about the link between mental illness and leadership and it's really an interesting look into why mental health should be a focus in our society!
Hope y'all enjoyed this little quick post and look forward for many more posts to come :)
