I'm joining In Residence and Gold And Bloom monthly link-up, Currently! Check out what everyone is doing currently on the first wednesday of the month. This month is what all of us are eating, exploring, wearing, admiring, and collecting! Also, join us again on Wednesday, November 4, to share what you're cooking, planning, smelling, appreciating, anticipating.
eating: PASTA - now that I'm living in an apartment with a kitchen (exciting, right?!), I have so much more control over what I ate! It makes me so happy to be able to have a choice in what goes into what I eat. Granted, since I'm usually in class for hours on end, I don't have as much energy to cook, but I've been trying to become creative with what I do make! I recently tried avocado sauce for pasta and I just made my first bolognese! It was a proud day for me :-) (Pictures 3 and 4)
exploring: Now that I'm back in the big city, I've been trying really hard to actually LEAVE campus on the weekends, something that becomes harder when work piles up. I've been able to get away quite a lot this semester already and it's been really nice to see buildings than contain more than classrooms and libraries. (Picture 2)
wearing: Nava NY recently sent me some AMAZING pieces- which I can't wait to show you more of, but you'll just have to wait ;) - and one of my favorites is this Silver Bar Infinity Necklace. This necklace reminds me so much of those nameplate necklaces I see so many people wear, but it's even more special to be wearing Gamma Phi. (Picture 5)
admiring: How other chapters of Gamma Phi pulled of their Fall Bid Day! We did an amazing job with our Bid Day this fall, and it was a blast and something that I am SO PROUD to have helped out with. Now that I've been on one side of it, it's even cooler to see how other chapters did theirs! One of my favorites is Texas Christian University's chapter! (Picture 6)
collecting: LIPSTICKS. I've recently remembered how much I love wearing lipstick and it's become a slight problem since then. I just rediscovered MAC's Lipstick in Rebel, which is the most gorgeous pink lipstick. You can wear it as light or as deep as you'd like and it looks good on SO many different skin tones, it amazes me! (Picture 1). I've heard so many different bloggers rave about it and I'm so glad I rediscovered it.
